Nesso is a picturesque village on the eastern shore of the Como branch of the lake, the lake at the mouth of the valley.
Here, in the hamlet of Coatesa, is the horrid Nesso, a deep and picturesque gorge located at the mouth of the valleys of the Tuf and Nosè, the gorge is formed by the two streams that come together here in one thunderous mass water and, falling among the rocks, dividing the town become a beautiful thunderous waterfall.
The show can be seen from the road 583 "Lariana", or going down to the lake with the characteristic steps (over 340 steps) flanked by houses, an ancient Roman bridge that connects the two banks of the river.
